This privacy notice explains how Fractal Edge processes personal data when you visit our website or contact us about software engineering and technical advisory services.
Fractal Edge is operated by Fractal Tech Group SRL, Romania (referred to as "we", "our", or "us"). We are responsible for personal data collected through this website. To contact us about privacy, write to hello@fractaledge.tech.
Submitting a project inquiry is not a subscription to marketing messages or a client account.
When you submit a project inquiry, we collect your name, email address, selected project topic and preferred start timeframe. If you used the optional compatibility quiz, we may also store a numerical fit score with your inquiry.
Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical information needed to serve and protect the website, such as IP address, browser data, request timestamps and error information.
We do not request sensitive personal data in the inquiry form. Please do not send health, financial account, identification or other sensitive information through this form.
We use contact details and project information to assess your inquiry, reply to you, arrange conversations and prepare a potential business collaboration. Depending on the circumstances, this is based on steps taken at your request before entering a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) or our legitimate interest in responding to genuine business inquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
We also process limited operational and security information to keep the website functioning, prevent abuse and troubleshoot issues, based on our legitimate interests in secure and reliable operations.
Optional website analytics are only loaded after you actively allow them. For analytics, we rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). We do not add inquiry senders to a marketing mailing list without an independent lawful basis, including consent where required.
We use Vercel for website hosting and server-side execution, Appwrite for storing contact inquiries, and Mailjet for sending inquiry confirmations and notifications. These providers process information needed to deliver their respective services.
If you choose to allow website analytics, Google Tag Manager loads and may activate analytics services configured in our tag container. We are responsible for ensuring those services and their privacy settings match this notice and your choices.
Booking a call follows an external Calendly link. Calendly processes information you submit on its own booking page under its applicable privacy terms.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, international transfers must be supported by suitable legal safeguards, such as applicable adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
The website stores your analytics preference locally in your browser under the key cookie-consent. Necessary technical features may use other browser storage or cookies when required for reliable operation.
Google Tag Manager is not loaded by our consent component unless you select Allow analytics. Selecting Reject analytics leaves optional analytics disabled. You can reopen your choices using Cookie preferences in the footer.
If you withdraw consent after having allowed analytics, the page reloads to stop future loads of the analytics script. Cookies or data already stored by third-party services may require separate deletion through browser controls or the provider, as applicable.
We retain inquiry records for the period needed to respond, evaluate a potential collaboration and manage related correspondence. We periodically review whether keeping older contact data remains necessary.
Some information may need to be kept longer to comply with legal obligations or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Technical and security records are retained according to operational requirements and the applicable service-provider settings.
You may ask us to erase your inquiry data when it is no longer required for a lawful purpose. We will consider and respond to such requests in accordance with applicable law.
Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
You may withdraw consent for optional analytics at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, email hello@fractaledge.tech. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority; in Romania, this is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect inquiry data and restrict its use to the purposes explained here. No method of Internet transmission or storage is completely risk-free.
Links to websites such as Calendly, Costvance or KIVO are governed by the respective websites' privacy information. This notice applies to the Fractal Edge website and its own inquiry process.
We may update this notice as our services, providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page shows when the notice was last revised.
